There is a feeling that you can only get from riding a bike. It's euphoric. It's liberating. At CrimsonBikes, we call that feeling "the Joy of Cycling" and we want to share it with everyone. We started in 2008 working on bikes in a dorm room at Harvard. We've grown a lot since then, but our motivation remains the same.

CAN I COME TO THE STORE TO PURCHASE/TEST PRODUCTS OR BIKES?

Yes, please feel free to stop by during our regular business hours. While we are not allowing customers in the store, we can have someone meet you at the door and bring out any products that you would like to test. We do ask that you wear a mask (or face covering) and practice physical distancing while visiting the store.

 

CAN I BRING MY BIKE FOR SERVICE OR A TUNE-UP? 

Local customers, please feel free to stop by during our regular business hours. We are not allowing customers in the store at the moment, but someone will meet you outside. For small things like flat fixes, we will perform the repair while you wait. For more involved repairs like a tune up, we will check your bike in for an estimate. Once a mechanic has a chance to take a look at the bike, we will contact you with an estimate for the work the bike needs. Typically, you’ll get your bike back in about 1-2 weeks after you drop it off. 

 

IS MY BIKE OR PRODUCT READY TO PICK UP?

If you are a local customer and haven’t received a call or an email that your bike is ready, then it is still in process. We will reach out to you as soon as it is ready.  

 

DO YOU HAVE THE ITEM I WANT IN STOCK IN STORE?

If you see a model on our website, it is currently available and will ship out according to the estimated timeline listed above. 

 

ONLINE ORDERS 

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER? WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP? 

If you are outside of Massachusetts, we will ship your order to you within 2-3 business days. Once your order has shipped, we will provide a tracking number via email.

If you order locally, we will build your bike (adds 1 week to processing time) and call you when your bike is ready. You can pick your order up in the store or have it delivered to you. 

 

DOES THE BIKE COME ASSEMBLED?

If you are having a bike shipped to you, your bike will come partially assembled out of the box, but there is work to be done when you receive it. We recommend having a local bike shop do this if possible, but understand that many are currently not operating under normal conditions at this time. We do offer a service to build and re-box the bike. We build the bike, fine-tune it, and test it before professionally boxing the bike back up for shipping so that when you receive it, you will be ready to ride in as little as 10 minutes.

If you are picking up your bike locally, we will assemble the bike for you at no additional charge. 

 

DOES MY BIKE COME WITH PEDALS?

Not all bicycles come with pedals. For example, some higher-end models will not include them, allowing customers to choose the kind of pedals they want. 

 

I WOULD LIKE TO CANCEL MY ORDER.

If you would like to cancel your order, please fill out the “contact us” form below with your cancellation request, including your order number, so that our support team can process it for you. We will process the cancellation within 24-48 hours and you should see the refund within 3-5 business days. If we have any questions, we will reach out to you.
